Required Vaccinations

At RUN DAWG, we take our vaccination requirements very seriously and they are consistent with animal handling best practices. Some illnesses like Canine Cough  are airborne and highly contagious, so we want to make sure that each pet that comes through our doors as protected as possible. Being vaccinated does not guarantee pets cannot contract the things they are vaccinated against, just as the human flu vaccine does not guarantee you will not get the flu.

 

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that RUN DAWG has required proof of vaccinations prior to services. Please call us in advance if you have any questions. We cannot allow any pet into our vans that is not in compliance with our vaccination requirements.

 

We will need a printout from your vet showing expiration dates of the following vaccinations. Your veterinarian knows what’s best for your pet. We defer to them for any vaccination expiration. We request records be texted (702-857-5755) or emailed (info@rundawg.com) to us prior to our arrival to ensure your pet has everything required. If you prefer,  we may be able to contact your veterinarian directly for a verbal certification.

 

Rabies: If vaccination is currently expired, it needs to be provided at least 1 day prior to our arrival.

 

Distemper: Suggested but not required.

 

Parvovirus: Suggested but not required.

 

Bordetella: Suggested but not required.
