Walking Your Dog Is Not Enough, RUN DAWG Runs Dogs

Veterinarians Agree Most Dogs Need 30 Minutes Of Running Daily

Las Vegas— 7-23-21RUN DAWG is a mobile dog gym that serves the Las Vegas valley, providing exercise for dogs on treadmills. Many dog owners are unaware that their dogs need more than a daily walk to maintain good heath, with veterinarians suggesting upwards of 30 minutes of high intensity running every day in addition to multiple mile walks. Due to busy schedules, physical limitations of owners or hot weather, many Las Vegas dogs do not get the recommended amount of exercise. RUN DAWG is making it easy and convenient for owners to provide their dogs with that much needed calorie burn.

“I Thought Walking Was Enough”

Dogs were bred over hundreds of years to have specific physical characteristics. Until the early 1900’s nearly all of these characteristics were designed to help hunters or farmers in the fields by herding, hunting or gathering. Today we take these same animals that were built to run and ask them to sit quietly in apartments and houses, not making noise or destroying things. We ask them to not pull on a leash or walk at their own pace. This places 80% of the dog’s weight on the front legs and almost nothing on the rear, resulting in a lifetime of muscle atrophy. This leads to health issues later in life that could have been avoided. Regular high intensity exercise builds rear leg muscles, better cardiovascular function and a longer life.

RUN DAWG Mobile Dog Gym

RUN DAWG was developed to provide dog owners with the ability to give their dogs the exercise they need, even if you can’t go out and hike with them for hours.  It provides an alternative to dog parks where diseases and physical confrontations are always a possibility. It helps stop destructiveness and aggressiveness that cause thousands of dogs to be given up to shelters every year. RUN DAWG is for Las Vegas dog owners who want a better life for their dogs. Appointments can be booked through the website at RUNDAWG.com
