Training Stages
With safety and care we take your dog through three stages of training:
1. Initial fitness training – your dog will be initially trained to use the treadmill. Some dogs can be scared, timid, nervous or stubborn. Our fitness coach spends plenty of time getting your dog comfortable on the treadmill in this stage. The length of time spent in this stage will depend on your dog.
2. Confidence Fitness Training – Your dog is mostly comfortable on the treadmill and can mostly walk/run on their own. Our canine fitness coach ensures your dog is running at a consistent pace during the session. This stage is spent growing confidence and endurance.
3. Challenge Fitness Training – Dog is running on their own. Our canine fitness coach challenges the dog in incline, speed intervals and resistance. This stage focuses on strength and endurance for optimal physical and mental well being.
